Industrial Quality Business Support Internship (12.5 months)

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement is based in Broughton, North Wales, within Airbus Commercial Wings. You will support the Industrial Quality function, helping to ensure traceability, safety and airworthiness of supplied and manufactured products. The role offers exposure to quality standards, data analysis and business improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business teams, explore data sources, prepare data products and develop dashboards, followed by testing and user acceptance.
• Deliver best‑practice changes and promote business excellence by working with transnational Quality teams to deploy harmonised standards.
• Support or lead business‑improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
• Use digital tools such as Google Suite and big‑data platforms to analyse data and reduce non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Currently studying for a degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Digital, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong passion for Airbus and the aviation industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Quick adaptability to changing priorities.
