Industrial Quality Engineering Placement – 12.5‑month Internship

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement supports Airbus’s wing manufacturing sites by investigating quality issues, driving corrective actions and helping to reduce non‑conformances across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out investigations and root‑cause analysis of reported quality issues across Airbus sites.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented by the accountable department in line with Quality rules and standards.
• Deliver best‑practice changes and promote business excellence by working with transnational Quality teams to harmonise processes.
• Use digital tools such as Google Suite and big‑data analysis to analyse non‑conformance data and support reduction initiatives.
• Develop knowledge of wing products while working within a lineside team.

Required profile

• Must be an undergraduate for the full placement duration, studying Aerospace, Aeronautical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Passion for Airbus and the aviation industry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective team collaborator and quick learner.
