About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a friendly, established team in Surbiton. The role involves producing high‑quality covers and awnings for domestic and commercial customers, with the option of full‑time or part‑time flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Sew a range of covers and awnings using industrial sewing machines.
• Operate machines safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Work from detailed specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised work environment.
• Collaborate independently and as part of a small team.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist is essential.
• Proven ability to work with heavy‑duty materials such as canvas, PVC or vinyl.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
