Industrial Ventilation Draughtsperson (Hybrid, Reading)

About the role

This permanent position is for a CAD Technician specialising in industrial ventilation systems. You will work in a hybrid model (three days onsite) for a market‑leading company that designs noise‑reducing attenuators, fan coil units and acoustic louvers for commercial, public and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create precise 3D models of bespoke ventilation and acoustic products using Autodesk Inventor.
• Design and detail HVAC and industrial ventilation systems to meet site constraints.
• Participate in company meetings and occasional site surveys to verify design performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure smooth integration of systems.

Required profile

• Experience with Autodesk Revit or an equivalent BIM/CAD platform.
• Ability to commute to Reading and work three days per week onsite.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
