About the role
The Industrial Voices Coordination & Training Officer will help scale a pioneering programme that equips industrial workers to create powerful, solidarity‑focused content. Working within the TUC’s Industry, Climate & Energy team, you will support the growth of a vibrant community of worker‑creators and contribute to building democratic power against divisive narratives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day project coordination for the Industrial Voices programme, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Develop, expand and deliver the training package that equips participants with content‑creation skills.
- Build and nurture a community of programme participants, fostering peer support and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with the Socials Team project lead and the Save British Industry Organiser, as well as the New Economy Organisers Network (NEON) partners.
- Monitor programme progress, collect feedback, and report on impact to senior stakeholders.
Required profile
- Highly organised with a proven ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned.
- Passionate about scaling ambitious projects that strengthen workers’ voices.
- Motivated by democratic values and the desire to counter hate‑driven digital narratives.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Required skills
- Experience in project coordination or programme management.
- Familiarity with training design and delivery methodologies.
- Ability to build and sustain community networks.
