Influencer & Community Manager

About the role

Pet Database is looking for an Influencer & Community Manager who genuinely cares about animals and the people who look after them. The role combines influencer partnership development with day‑to‑day community management across social channels, rescue networks and real‑world events. You will schedule, publish and optimise content while ensuring the brand stays visible and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish all content created by the Digital Content Creator, managing the publishing calendar and making real‑time timing decisions.
• Post reactive stories throughout the day to keep the brand alive, including events, community moments, influencer reshares and rescue stories.
• Own daily community management on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, responding to comments, DMs and reviews in the brand voice.
• Build and manage presence in Facebook rescue groups and local community groups; explore Reddit presence in the future.
• Identify, approach and manage relationships with pet and lifestyle influencers on Instagram and TikTok.
• Negotiate gifting, affiliate and paid collaboration agreements within budget and brand guidelines.
• Brief influencers, ensure content aligns with brand voice and campaign goals, and track campaign performance.

• Strong ear for community insights and ability to translate them into content.

Required skills

• Experience managing social channels on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Familiarity with influencer outreach, negotiation and performance tracking.
