Information & Cyber Security Manager - SC Cleared

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Information & Cyber Security Manager to support a high‑profile secure programme within the Security Operations function. The role will ensure the security, resilience and operational readiness of a critical national infrastructure programme.

Key responsibilities

• Support cyber security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management and threat monitoring.
• Work with suppliers and systems‑integration partners to meet contractual security deliverables.
• Help develop an end‑to‑end Security Operations Centre.
• Review and maintain operational procedures, incident playbooks and security reporting.
• Lead and contribute to security governance forums.
• Advise stakeholders on security risks, mitigations and incident handling.
• Coordinate security investigations across programme, government and emergency‑service teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across security operations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in cyber or information security operations within large‑scale programmes or critical national infrastructure.
• Knowledge of UK government security standards, NCSC guidance and security risk frameworks.
• Proven incident response and vulnerability management experience in multi‑supplier environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, high‑pressure environment.
