Information Security Officer – EMEA

About the role

The Information Security Officer will partner with the Head of Information Security to lead security programmes across Marex entities in the EMEA region. You will ensure consistent application of the Group’s security policies and local Information Systems Security Programs, supporting the business with expert advice and oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with regulators and agencies, including participation in external and internal audits.
• Conduct access‑management audits and monitor compliance with security policies.
• Perform third‑party security assessments and manage related risk mitigation activities.
• Report on security initiatives to formal management committees and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with IT, network, and infrastructure teams to maintain a secure environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information security within a financial or technology‑focused organisation.
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities across regions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with regulators, auditors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to the EMEA market.
