Infrastructure Analyst – Hybrid, Liverpool/Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst to join a high‑performing IT Operations team in Liverpool (with the possibility to work from Manchester). The role is hybrid and permanent, offering the chance to work with modern cloud, virtualization and networking technologies while supporting major transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support and develop enterprise infrastructure services across multiple sites.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from design and implementation to operational support.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery of infrastructure and application initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, recovery procedures and system designs.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery and high‑availability programmes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise infrastructure performance.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and identify service‑delivery improvements.

Required profile

• Strong VMware administration and support experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Entra ID and related cloud services.
• In‑depth knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Windows File Services.
• Solid networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
