About the role
Poolside is building the infrastructure that powers its AI‑driven developer tools. As an Infrastructure Engineer you will design, implement and operate the build, CI/CD and tooling platform used daily by researchers and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage the build and CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring fast, reproducible builds.
- Automate tooling and processes to improve efficiency across all engineering teams.
- Develop internal tools, CLI applications and services that support the monorepo and Python ecosystem.
Required profile
- Significant ownership of build and CI/CD systems with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Bazel, Buildkite and Python packaging tools.
Required skills
- Bazel (rules, macros, toolchains)
- Buildkite CI/CD pipelines
- Python (packaging, uv/pip/Poetry, virtual environments)
- Go programming
- Kubernetes (container orchestration)
- AWS services and IAM management
- Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructure as code
- Linux debugging and networking
