Infrastructure Engineer / Designer (Data Centre / CAD / Revit)

About the role

We are seeking a Passive IT Infrastructure Consultant to join a leading design consultancy in London. The role focuses on the design and delivery of data‑centre and structured‑cabling solutions using CAD and Revit, following RIBA design stages.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed passive infrastructure designs for communications rooms, risers, copper cabling and containment systems.
• Produce coordinated CAD/Revit models that integrate with M&E and interior design packages.
• Capture client requirements and translate them into fully coordinated design documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with CNIDP, CTPM, CNCI and CNET standards.
• Collaborate with architects, M&E consultants and interior designers throughout the RIBA delivery phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a passive IT infrastructure consultant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of RIBA design and delivery stages.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to work closely with design peers and manage client expectations.

Required skills

• Structured cabling design (comms rooms, risers, copper, containment).
• Proficiency in CAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of CNIDP, CTPM, CNCI and CNET standards.
• Familiarity with RIBA design stages.
