Infrastructure Engineer (DV Cleared) – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a DV‑cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join a global technology company in Cheltenham. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves designing, implementing and supporting secure IT infrastructure across a range of platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain virtualised environments using VMware ESXi, vCenter and Cloud Foundation.
• Administer Windows, Linux and macOS servers and ensure their security and performance.
• Implement container solutions and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.
• Configure and manage networking and storage technologies, including VMware NSX.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Java) and infrastructure‑as‑code pipelines with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Foreman, Kickstart/PXE and MDT.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams to deliver resilient solutions and provide technical leadership on complex issues.

Required profile

• Current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
• Proven experience in enterprise‑level infrastructure engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
