Infrastructure Engineer – Hybrid

About the role

This permanent, hybrid position is based in London and offers the chance to manage a diverse technical environment that spans on‑premises and private cloud infrastructure. You will own endpoint, identity, and cloud services while driving long‑term, secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide endpoint and desktop support with a focus on root‑cause resolution.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) – identity, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access.
• Deploy and manage devices via Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager and Windows Autopilot.
• Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Exchange Online and the admin centre.
• Manage Windows infrastructure – DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS and domain services.
• Maintain network printer fleets across multiple sites.
• Uphold security best practices using Microsoft Defender and promote user awareness.
• Optimise virtual workloads across blended on‑prem and private‑cloud environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in an IT Support or Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Strong infrastructure background with hands‑on cloud experience (not purely MSP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, M365, Autopilot, Exchange Online and Teams administration.
• Solid knowledge of Windows DNS, DHCP, GPO and WSUS.
• Awareness of common Azure AD challenges and licensing limits.
• Broad understanding of networking, security, performance and cloud concepts.
• Self‑driven, inquisitive and committed to delivering long‑term solutions.
