Infrastructure Solutions Architect – London (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join a leading consultancy delivering a major infrastructure programme for a prestigious financial institution. The role is based in London with 2‑3 days per week onsite, offering the chance to design resilient, secure and scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
• Produce high‑quality High Level and Low Level Design documentation (HLDs/LLDs) and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and SMEs to drive solution implementation.
• Provide technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle, reviewing designs and supporting delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions meet security, operational, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing enterprise‑level infrastructure solutions rather than solely supporting them.
• Ability to work with a wide range of technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for producing documentation and presenting designs.
• Eligibility to obtain SC (Security Check) clearance.
