Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

The client is looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to manage the operation of IT hardware, software, communications and application solutions. You will ensure that IT services and products are delivered efficiently, meet business needs and comply with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain IT hardware, software, communications and application solutions.
• Plan, develop, deliver and support IT services and products.
• Prepare for and support new or changed services, including change management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and professional standards.
• Monitor system and service performance against business objectives.
• Manage bought‑in services such as public networks, VPNs and outsourced solutions.
• Produce service‑level reporting and support risk management and contingency planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, hardware, software, communications or application solutions.
• Experience supporting IT service delivery and operations.
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere DataPower and MAPICS.
• APICS CPIM certification is desirable.
