In‑House Maintenance Electrician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced In‑House Maintenance Electrician to join our team and provide high‑quality electrical repairs, testing and refurbishments across residential properties in the South East. The role is full‑time, on‑site and offers a stable, permanent position within our in‑house maintenance department.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on single‑ and three‑phase systems, including electric showers and immersion heaters.
• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and issue the relevant certificates.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 (Part P) and report urgent health‑and‑safety defects to the Qualifying Supervisor.
• Log jobs digitally via PDA/smartphone and maintain accurate van stock.
• Participate in an out‑of‑hours emergency rota as required.

Required profile

• Qualified to C&G 2330 (or equivalent) and C&G 2382 (18th Edition); additional C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) certification is desirable.
• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Proven experience in domestic fault‑finding, repairs and customer‑facing service.
• Willingness to work on‑call and use mobile/PDA applications for job management.
