Injection Moulding Setter – Full‑time Production Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join our well‑established plastics manufacturing team in Brockham. You will help keep production running smoothly by setting machines, changing tools and ensuring high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out tool changes and set up injection moulding machines for each production run.
• Optimise moulding parameters and troubleshoot issues to maximise productivity.
• Perform quality inspections to confirm products meet specifications.
• Assist with new tool trials and support process development.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic preventative tasks.
• Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to minimise downtime and scrap.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter, Moulding Technician or a similar role in plastics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of plastic materials and processing parameters.
• Proven ability to set conditions, optimise processes and diagnose faults.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach in a fast‑paced environment.
