Inside Sales Account Manager – Ocean Division (UK & Ireland)

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager for its Ocean Division, covering the UK and Ireland maritime market. This 18‑month fixed‑term position is based in Camberley with hybrid working flexibility, requiring regular on‑site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of Alfa Laval products and services to maritime customers, following established sales processes.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of UK & Ireland accounts through proactive digital engagement and remote sales activities.
• Prepare, follow up and close quotations and proposals for spares, services, repairs and upgrades.
• Identify and pursue dry‑dock opportunities, analyse market trends and customer data to uncover growth potential.
• Collaborate with field sales, service, technical support and business development teams to deliver customer‑specific growth strategies.
• Maintain high‑quality CRM data and use digital tools for pipeline visibility and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in inside sales, account management or technical‑commercial sales, preferably within the maritime industry.
• Strong commercial understanding with the ability to translate customer needs into value‑adding solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently and collaborate across functions and borders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• High digital competence, including extensive use of CRM systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with digital sales and collaboration tools (e.g., virtual meeting platforms, sales enablement software).
