Insolvency Administrator

About the role

We are a well‑established accountancy and business advisory firm in the North West, seeking an Insolvency Administrator to join our close‑knit insolvency team. You will become part of a busy “live” team, handling a varied caseload from day one and contributing to the firm’s reputation for technical excellence and supportive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate insolvency cases from initial handover through appointment, investigation and completion.
• Work on Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs), Administrations and Members’ Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs) with a focus on pre‑appointment, appointment and CDDA investigations.
• Identify billing opportunities and ensure accurate case documentation.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate insolvency, particularly pre‑appointment, appointment and investigatory work.
• Ability to manage cases independently and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• CPI qualification or progress towards it is preferred.
