Insolvency Investigator

About the role

We are looking for an Insolvency Investigator to join our fast‑growing Investigation Team in London. You will lead and support corporate insolvency investigations, focusing on director conduct and antecedent transactions, working alongside insolvency practitioners, managers and fellow investigators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct investigations into corporate insolvency matters.
• Analyse financial statements, transaction histories and related data to identify red flags.
• Prepare clear, evidence‑based reports for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Investigation Team and external advisers to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of insolvency legislation and best‑practice investigative techniques.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insolvency investigations, corporate insolvency or a similar investigative role.
• Strong understanding of insolvency frameworks, legislation and regulatory processes.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail when reviewing financial information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Relevant qualifications such as CPI are advantageous but not essential.
