Insolvency Practitioner – Corporate Appointments (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Insolvency Practitioner to join a well‑established insolvency firm in Manchester on a part‑time basis. The role focuses on taking corporate insolvency appointments and managing an existing caseload within a supportive, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take formal corporate insolvency appointments, including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations and other restructuring assignments.
• Manage an active portfolio of cases from appointment through to closure.
• Provide technical guidance to case administrators and junior staff.
• Maintain strong relationships with directors, creditors, solicitors and other stakeholders.
• Review case progression to ensure compliance with insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Support the firm with technical and strategic input as needed.
• Assist with business development activities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
• Proven experience managing corporate insolvency appointments.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate insolvency procedures.
• Excellent organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
