Insurance Account Director

About the role

We are seeking an Insurance Account Director to join our growing team in London. In this role you will build and maintain trusted relationships with corporate clients, helping them select the right insurance solutions from a broad portfolio of brands across the Ardonagh Group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long‑term client relationships through face‑to‑face meetings, phone calls and video conferences.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products.
• Provide year‑round support and act as the primary point of contact for complex accounts.
• Prospect new business and expand the existing portfolio through networking and targeted outreach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions from a diverse range of insurance brands.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large corporate risk accounts and a substantial book of business.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities.
• Strong curiosity about the insurance industry and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent teamwork, resilience and the ability to adapt to change.
• High integrity and professionalism in a regulated financial environment.
