Insurance Account Director

About the role

You will lead and grow a portfolio of key residential property clients, acting as their trusted insurance partner. In a fast‑growing business you will shape tailored insurance programmes, deliver exceptional service and negotiate the best outcomes with leading insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead renewal strategies, market submissions and negotiations for residential property insurance programmes.
• Advise and meet with clients, translating risk profiles into clear recommendations.
• Manage tenders and new business opportunities from qualification through presentation and closure.
• Oversee claims, ensuring swift resolution and detailed reporting.
• Develop growth plans, track pipeline, MI and performance against targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers to secure competitive terms and bespoke solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building senior‑level client relationships in insurance broking.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, results‑focused approach.
• Organised, calm under pressure and able to take ownership of complex portfolios.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex insurance matters clearly.
