Insurance Account Handler – Hybrid (London)

About the role

We are seeking an Insurance Account Handler to join a respected brokerage in South West London. The position is hybrid, with one day per week working from home, and focuses on renewals for a portfolio of loyal SME and construction clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of policy renewals, ensuring strong client retention.
• Understand each client’s business and risk profile to advise on appropriate coverage.
• Communicate client needs to underwriters and negotiate terms.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, providing prompt service.
• Identify future insurance requirements and proactively discuss options.

Required profile

• Proven experience in personal or commercial insurance broking or underwriting.
• Familiarity with SME, construction, and property insurance sectors.
• Confident, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Based within commuting distance of South West London.
