Insurance Advisor – Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking a confident Insurance Advisor to join our growing local firm in Taunton. The role combines hybrid working with a focus on building relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions to personal and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with new and existing clients to assess their insurance needs.
• Provide tailored advice across a range of personal and commercial insurance products.
• Build long‑term relationships through trust, expertise and proactive communication.
• Identify opportunities to expand the client base via networking, referrals and outreach.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of professionals in a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance or a similar regulated sector (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural relationship‑building ability.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to obtain CII certification (support provided) or existing qualification.

• Salary up to £30,000 per annum (DOE) with OTE around £35,000.
• 35‑hour week, hybrid working (2‑3 days in office after probation).
