Insurance Advisor – Trainee (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Insurance Advisor (Trainee) to join a leading insurance business in Taunton. You will receive full training and professional qualifications while helping customers protect their homes, vehicles and personal belongings.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on home, motor and personal insurance products.
• Assess each client’s circumstances and recommend appropriate cover.
• Build trusted relationships through outstanding customer service.
• Cross‑sell and up‑sell additional insurance solutions where suitable.
• Manage enquiries from quotation through to policy completion.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.
• Develop knowledge through structured training and industry‑recognised qualifications.

Required profile

• Previous insurance experience or a proven sales background.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confident, consultative approach with a customer‑first mindset.
• Positive attitude and desire to build a long‑term career.
• Motivation to achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional service.
