Insurance Director – Account Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Director to lead the delivery of bespoke risk‑management solutions for a portfolio of high‑profile clients. You will act as the senior insurance expert, building trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs and other senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Understand each client’s business and risk profile to design first‑class insurance programmes.
• Ensure solutions are competitively priced while delivering profitable outcomes.
• Lead end‑to‑end client service, from onboarding through ongoing management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to achieve high retention rates.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to meet performance targets.
• Travel to London 2‑3 days per week and occasional client site visits, including abroad when required.

Required profile

• Extensive commercial insurance knowledge across all classes of business.
• Proven credibility and presence at senior executive level.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong commitment to customer service and business development.
