About the role

We are partnering with a top‑100 law firm in Central London to recruit an experienced solicitor for its insurance litigation team. The role offers a strong work‑life balance, a reasonable billable‑hours target, and the chance to work on a variety of defendant matters with a focus on coverage and re‑insurance disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle coverage and re‑insurance disputes on behalf of insurers.
• Defend underlying claims across indemnity and liability matters.
• Provide policy‑interpretation advice to clients.
• Collaborate with a senior team of litigators on complex cases.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with several years of experience in insurance litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage defendant matters and advise on policy interpretation.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work 2–3 days per week on‑site, with hybrid flexibility.
