Insurance Sales Advisor

About the role

Join a growing specialist insurance business as an Insurance Sales Advisor, working with warm, pre‑qualified leads to help customers secure the right cover. The role is office‑based in Manchester City Centre, Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers who have received quotes but have not yet purchased.
• Follow up renewals and re‑engage lapsed customers.
• Handle inbound sales enquiries via phone, email and live chat.
• Convert opportunities into sales while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities across specialist insurance products.
• Process quotations, renewals and policy changes.

Required profile

• Enjoy speaking with people and motivated by targets.
• Experience in sales, telesales, customer service, retention or contact‑centre environments.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Confident and resilient when handling objections.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Experience working towards targets or KPIs.
