Insurance Sales Team Leader

About the role

This position leads a team of five Personal Lines Sales Advisors for a well‑established insurance business in South East England. You will be at the core of the sales operation, driving performance, coaching staff and ensuring customers receive top‑class service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of five Personal Lines Sales Advisors.
• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Conduct regular 1‑to‑1 coaching sessions, performance reviews and team meetings.
• Assist team members with complex customer enquiries and sales conversations.
• Monitor quality, compliance and customer experience standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and conversion rates.
• Foster a collaborative, high‑energy sales culture.

Required profile

• Experience in personal lines insurance, preferably in a sales‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a sales team.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, customer journeys and regulatory compliance.
• Confident communicator with a people‑first leadership style.
• Organised, results‑driven and passionate about delivering outcomes.
