Insurance Solicitor – up to £90,000 DOE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Solicitor to join a nationally recognised specialty team in London. The role involves handling high‑value, complex insurance and reinsurance disputes for major London Market insurers and reinsurers, with significant exposure to international matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of high‑value disputes covering policy coverage, indemnity, liability and reinsurance issues.
• Provide strategic advisory work and liaise closely with foreign local counsel on international matters.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, contributing to business development initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, supporting their professional growth.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
• Strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage, and defence work.
• Essential reinsurance experience and a solid understanding of the London Market ecosystem.
• Excellent analytical ability, commercial awareness and capacity to manage complex matters with minimal supervision.
