Insurer Relations Manager – SME

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insurer Relations team at Markerstudy, reporting to the Head of Insurer Relations. You will manage key insurer partnerships across multiple commercial insurance brands, shaping products and customer propositions while delivering commercial value for policyholders.

Key responsibilities

• Use data insights to improve customer conversion and retention rates.
• Develop and manage insurer relationships to expand product footprint, maximise cost‑efficiency and enhance business outcomes.
• Identify target markets and align them with suitable products that deliver strong customer outcomes.
• Analyse quote data by insurer to uncover opportunities for new business and renewals.
• Create and implement strategic plans with the insurer panel in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market conditions, competitor products and emerging trends.
• Produce clear reports to support insurer review and strategy meetings.
• Travel to insurer strategy meetings in London and other UK locations as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance, preferably commercial lines.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make sound business decisions.
• Track record of building and maintaining remote networks and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
