Intercity Bus & Coach Driver (Livingston)

About the role

Ember, the UK’s first fully‑electric, zero‑emission coach company, is expanding to Livingston and is looking for professional drivers to join its fast‑growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate electric coaches safely and keep services running on time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for passengers, assisting with queries, luggage and ensuring a pleasant journey.
• Maintain the interior of the coach, including light cleaning and tidying throughout the day.
• Use Ember’s new technology platforms to enhance the passenger experience.

Required profile

• Full PCV licence – Category D minimum.
• Current CPC and digital tachograph card (or ability to obtain quickly).
• Demonstrated high‑quality driving with smooth braking and a strong safety focus.
• Flexibility to work early, late or night shifts on any day of the week.

What we offer

• Hourly rate from £16.50, rising to £17.30 after one year and up to £19.80 for overtime.
