Intercity Bus & Coach Driver – Scotland (Relocation Packages)

About the role

We are looking for experienced intercity bus and coach drivers to join Ember, the UK’s first fully‑electric, zero‑emission coach company operating routes across Scotland. The role involves driving electric coaches on scheduled services and providing on‑the‑ground operational support to ensure a high‑quality passenger experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate electric coaches safely on intercity routes, maintaining smooth driving and adherence to schedules.
• Provide front‑line customer service, assisting passengers with luggage, answering queries and handling issues.
• Perform light cleaning and upkeep of the coach throughout the day.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to manage delays, communicate updates and support overall service quality.

Required profile

• Full PCV licence (Category D) and up‑to‑date CPC.
• Digital tachograph card (or ability to obtain it quickly).
• Demonstrated high‑quality driving with smooth braking and a strong safety focus.
• Flexibility to work early, late or night shifts on any day of the week.

What we offer

• Starting rate £16.50 per hour, rising to £17.30 after one year and up to £19.80 for overtime.
