Intercompany Accountant – London Heathrow (Hybrid)

About the role

Nippon Express is seeking an experienced Intercompany Accountant to join its Finance team at London Heathrow. Working in a global finance network, you will support intercompany accounting across multiple entities and collaborate with colleagues worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue intercompany invoices and statements.
• Manage aged intercompany receivables and payables.
• Record and reconcile group billing transactions.
• Process and clear monthly netting results.
• Complete intercompany account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain airline, group and suspense account reconciliations.
• Process accruals and support month‑end accounting activities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and overseas group companies to resolve queries.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Finance.

Required profile

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Analytical and confident working with large volumes of financial data.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communicator capable of building relationships across countries and departments.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft 365.
• SharePoint.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (advantageous).
