Interim Accountant – Temporary Finance Role

About the role

This interim accountant position supports a medium‑sized industrial and manufacturing business in Gatwick. You will be responsible for key financial processes and will work closely with the Accounting & Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
• Monitor and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Provide support during audits and prepare required documentation.
• Manage employee and company expenses.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• SAP Concur (preferred).
• Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.

What we offer
