Interim B2C Credit Controller

About the role

This interim position supports a growing Bristol‑based business as a B2C Credit Controller. Working within the finance team, you will manage consumer debt collections while preserving a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outstanding customer accounts and reduce aged debt.
• Contact customers via phone, email and letter regarding overdue balances.
• Negotiate payment plans and devise practical solutions.
• Resolve customer account queries professionally and empathetically.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity.
• Collaborate closely with finance and customer service teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.
• Strong B2C (consumer) collections background.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confidence handling sensitive conversations over the phone.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
