Interim Finance Business Partner – 6 month contract

About the role

This interim position offers a senior finance professional the chance to work within a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed professional services organisation. You will be based in Cheshire, operating on a hybrid model with two days a week in the office, and will have exposure to senior stakeholders and the possibility of a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to deliver insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets, providing clear commentary on performance.
• Analyse profitability, cost drivers and revenue streams to support commercial initiatives.
• Develop financial models for business cases, investment decisions and private‑equity driven projects.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to challenge assumptions and drive improved financial performance.
• Assist with board reporting and investor presentations as required.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance across the business.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified finance professional.
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role.
• Experience within a professional services environment is highly desirable.
• Immediate availability or short notice period.
• Previous exposure to a private‑equity backed business is advantageous.
