Interim Finance Manager

About the role

A well‑established manufacturing business in Poole is seeking an Interim Finance Manager to support the finance function during a period of transition. The role focuses on operational efficiency, strategic financial oversight and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Leading month‑end processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders for financial planning and analysis
• Overseeing transactional finance, including sales ledger, purchase ledger and reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations

Required profile

• Proven experience in a finance leadership role within manufacturing or industrial sectors
• High‑level knowledge of transactional finance and cash flow forecasting
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior management and cross‑functional teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) desirable but not essential
