Interim Finance Manager (Part‑time, 3‑month contract)

About the role
We are seeking an immediately available Finance Manager to join our SME in Braintree on an interim basis. This part‑time role will last approximately three months, reporting directly to the Managing Director and overseeing the finance function during a period of change.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day finance function.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, board reports and financial analysis.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
- Manage day‑to‑day transactions and support the finance assistant during busy periods.
Required profile
- Immediate availability for a three‑month interim assignment.
- Previous experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager.
- Strong Excel proficiency.

What we offer
- Competitive salary between £45,000 and £55,000 per year.
