Interim Financial Controller – Hybrid (Bath)

About the role

This interim assignment is with a high‑growth international business undergoing a major transformation. Reporting to the CFO, you will act as the trusted Number 2, strengthening financial controls and supporting the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reporting on time.
• Manage and develop a technical accounting and reporting team.
• Drive process‑improvement and control‑enhancement initiatives.
• Support finance transformation and change programmes.
• Provide commercial insight and technical expertise to the CFO and senior leadership.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience as a Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller or Head of Finance.
• Background in larger, complex or international organisations.
• Proven experience in finance transformation, process improvement or systems change.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and ability to add value quickly.
