Interim Financial Controller – Manufacturing (6 months)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a manufacturing client in West London on a six‑month contract. You will act as a key business partner to the General Manager, providing financial insight, risk assessment and support for a major ERP transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior management to evaluate business opportunities, risks and mitigation plans.
• Lead the finance side of a global ERP project, acting as business lead for the current EFACs system and change agent for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Oversee statutory accounting, management reporting and compliance with IFRS and group standards.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and monthly, half‑yearly and annual closes.
• Manage treasury functions, cash positioning, credit policy and banking relationships.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, collections and credit control.
• Perform manufacturing‑specific accounting tasks such as stock valuation, gross margin analysis and bill‑of‑materials costing.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance business partner.
• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, statutory reporting and internal controls.
• Ability to work closely with operational teams and senior leadership.
• Immediate availability and willingness to work on‑site in West London.
