Interim Financial Modeller

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Financial Modeller to take full ownership of Excel‑based modelling across multiple manufacturing sites. Working directly with the CFO and CCO, you will shape operational decisions and support business growth on a flexible, short‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine multiple Excel models for different sites.
• Model volume flows to identify capacity constraints and operational pinch points.
• Highlight required operational changes to support growth.
• Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer and senior leadership to iterate models as new insights emerge.
• Assess existing models and data, pinpointing assumption‑driven weaknesses.
• Rebuild models from scratch where needed to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong Excel and data‑modelling capability, demonstrated in roles such as Excel Modeller, Data Analyst or Commercial Analyst.
• Experience working with imperfect, assumption‑led data and translating operational processes into robust models.
• Commercial awareness and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Previous experience in interim or contract roles; industry experience not essential.
