Interim FP&A Manager – Finance & Data

About the role

We are seeking an Interim FP&A Manager to join a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed services business in Central London for a 6‑month contract. Reporting to the CFO, you will sit at the crossroads of finance, data and technology, driving the next generation of financial planning, reporting and AI‑enabled analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Build sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and investment appraisal.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and executive reporting that deliver real‑time commercial insight.
• Leverage AI tools, including Generative AI and Copilot, to automate variance commentary, reporting packs and forecasting processes.
• Automate manual reporting workflows to improve speed, accuracy and scalability.
• Partner with Finance, Commercial and Technology teams to enhance data quality and reporting architecture.
• Support acquisition integration through planning models, reporting and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven FP&A experience in a fast‑paced, commercial environment.
• Advanced financial modelling and strong Excel expertise.
• Experience building driver‑based forecasting models and predictive planning capabilities.
• Ability to translate large data sets into actionable commercial insights.
