Interim FP&A Manager – Remote

About the role

This is an interim position supporting a fast‑growing technology scale‑up that operates a global consumer marketplace. You will own the OPEX budgeting and forecasting cycle for the 2027 planning period, working remotely with finance business partners and budget owners.

Key responsibilities

• Run 1:1 and small‑group onboarding sessions with budget holders to introduce the new self‑serve OPEX process.
• Coach and support budget owners as they input forecasts, troubleshooting issues in real time.
• Conduct regular check‑ins against the budget calendar, track progress and flag concerns.
• Serve as the primary liaison between FP&A and the business throughout the budgeting cycle.
• Collaborate with the wider FP&A team on related workstreams as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant.
• Several years of experience in FP&A, including direct management of budget holders and senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of running an end‑to‑end OPEX budgeting or forecasting cycle.
• Strong project‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Partnering mindset and ability to influence across functions.

Required skills

• Experience with a modern FP&A planning tool (e.g., Abacum).

What we offer

• Day rate of £450‑£550 (outside IR35).
• Fully remote work arrangement.
