Interim Head of School (EYFS) – Westminster

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of School to lead a small, inclusive EYFS setting in Westminster from September 2026 to July 2027. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and safeguarding throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support staff across the school.
• Drive high standards within EYFS provision.
• Support pupils with additional needs and ensure inclusive practice.
• Maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Work closely with governors, staff and families.
• Oversee curriculum delivery, assessment and pupil progress.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the school.
• Support staff development and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven leadership experience within an EYFS setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding.
