Interim Legal Operations – 3-Month Contract

About the role

This 3‑month interim position supports a market‑leading organisation in delivering critical legal and commercial projects. You will work across legal, commercial and operational teams to ensure contract‑related milestones are met on tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Review, categorise and analyse customer and supplier contracts.
• Maintain and update contract trackers, reporting tools and project documentation.
• Coordinate consent, novation and assignment processes.
• Collaborate with legal, commercial and operational stakeholders to drive project progress.
• Manage communications with internal and external parties.
• Support contract remediation, restructuring and workflow optimisation initiatives.
• Escalate complex legal issues to counsel when required.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure delivery against key deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in legal operations, contract management or legal project management.
• Ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong organisational attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using trackers and workflow management tools.
• Experience in contract review, novation, restructuring or remediation projects is highly advantageous.
