Interim Project Manager – Part‑Time (Care Home Operations)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare provider for an experienced Interim Project Manager to work part‑time (3.5 days a week) on operational transformation projects across a multi‑site care home organisation. The role is focused on business change rather than IT, requiring a deep understanding of care services and the ability to drive improvements while minimising disruption to frontline staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of operational change programmes, such as migrating care sites onto new time‑and‑attendance and payroll systems.
• Coordinate stakeholders across multiple locations to ensure readiness and smooth implementation.
• Identify process improvements, develop change plans and monitor performance against targets.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and manage project risks and issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering operational change within the care home sector.
• Strong knowledge of how care services operate, preferably in a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Background as a Project Manager, Business Change Manager, Operations Manager or PMO.
• Ability to manage projects across several sites and engage diverse stakeholder groups.
