Interim Regional HR Business Partner (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Regional HR Business Partner to support a portfolio of up to 10 care homes across Surrey and surrounding areas. Working closely with senior operational leaders, you will translate the company's People Plan into local initiatives, drive cultural change and provide expert guidance on employee relations, talent and organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership teams across up to 10 care homes, offering expert advice on all people matters.
• Deliver the Company’s People Plan regionally, turning strategy into practical local initiatives.
• Coach and influence leaders on employee relations, performance, engagement, retention and people‑related decision making.
• Collaborate with the Employee Relations team to manage complex ER issues with a fair, consistent, commercially‑focused approach.
• Champion cultural change, employee engagement and the organisation’s purpose, values and strategic pillars.
• Use people data, metrics and trends to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with Talent and wider HR teams to develop and implement succession and talent plans across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a generalist HR/People Business Partner in a complex, multi‑site or regional environment.
• Strong working knowledge and practical application of UK Employment Law.
• Demonstrable experience supporting and advising on complex Employee Relations matters.
• Experience coaching and influencing senior leaders and operational management teams.
• Track record of delivering cultural change, engagement or broader people initiatives, preferably within a regulated sector such as care or healthcare.
