Interim Senior Finance Assistant (Hybrid, Milton Keynes)

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Senior Finance Assistant to join a private‑equity backed healthcare organisation in Milton Keynes. This hybrid role offers three days in the office and two days remote, with immediate start and a competitive umbrella rate.

Key responsibilities

• Process high‑volume purchase invoices and perform supplier reconciliations.
• Support payment runs and resolve supplier queries.
• Assist with sales ledger, credit control, and customer invoicing.
• Support month‑end activities, reconciliations and audit preparation.
• Drive process improvements across the finance function.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a well‑rounded finance role.
• Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or Sage 50 is advantageous).
• Proactive, organised approach and ability to hit the ground running.
• AAT qualification or studying (desirable).
